Wondering about Web Reporting? Check out the key benefits
by Rick Paulsen, Client Relations Manager
It’s been some time since we discussed Web Reporting, so I wanted to touch on some of the most important benefits of the service.
The first thing to note is an improvement our Product Team made to Web Reporting. Originally, you could see four reports on one screen, then we added four more. It is now possible to have many more screens…it just depends on the user’s preference.
Read on for more ways to use this powerful MACC tool at your company.
Different reports for different roles
If you are the administrator for your Web Reporting Log-ins, you can set up multiple log-ins for different job duties, such as manager, marketing manager, plant manager, reports for board meetings, etc. If you don’t have a Web Reporting Administrator you should get one to handle access for others at your company. Contact your Software Support Representative for setting up a Web Reporting Administrator.
Web Reporting Dashboard
Another aspect of Web Reporting on which to focus is the Dashboard feature. It allows you to select certain reports displaying information in different ways. Below is a view of the Dashboard reporting. If you have Web Reporting, and don’t see the Dashboard, let your Software Support Representative know and we can activate it for you.
Using the Dashboard, you can set up various reporting tabs as well for different pieces of data, revenues, USP counts, etc. For example, your marketing person may want to track USP codes pertaining to a current promotion. With these reports, at a glance this information is available. For another example, your general manager may want to see how many Service Orders or Trouble Tickets are open. Again, this information is quickly available. Additionally, your accounting team can track revenues month-to-month.
There are just lots of good ways to track things day-to-day in Web Reporting. You can track churn on networks or services to keep an eye on cable TV revenue. For internet you can also track your numbers to compare between customers using slower and faster internet packages. Reports are able to be exported to Excel for further manipulation.
If you’re interested in getting Web Reporting set up at your company, contact your Client Relations Manager or Account Manager for a demonstration of this great product. For companies who have a Web Reporting subscription, MACC’s Training Team has a very helpful web training course available on Client Central.
