FUSC rate change for this month

As a reminder, on Friday, December 9th, the FCC released a public notice that it proposes to set the quarterly Federal Universal Service Charge (FUSC) contribution factor from 17.4% to 16.7% for the 1st quarter of 2017. NECA expects to file FCC Tariff #5 making the rate 16.7% effective January 1, 2017.

MACC has switched from using faxes for FUSC rate changes to an e-mail distribution system. An e-mail regarding this change was sent in December to all affected MACC clients. If you did not receive an e-mail on this topic, please notify MACC’s Data Management Team at [email protected].
