MACC Announcements

MACC will be conducting network maintenance on July 8th
From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Central) on Sunday, July 8th, our technicians will conduct maintenance on our network. During this time, web-based services from MACC may be unavailable. This affects MSaaS and all MACC websites (Web Reporting, TMS, FTP, etc.) as well as online access to customer statements. Going forward, MACC will be scheduling network maintenance during the same timeframe on the second Sunday of each month. Please contact your MACC Client Relations Manager or Account Manager if you have questions regarding this maintenance schedule.

July 4th Support Hours
MACC will be closed for Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4th. Regular support hours will be in place the remainder of the month.

Jump Start Training
Jump Start Training is available for Accounting Master and Customer Master at our headquarters in Blair, Nebraska. The training is perfect for new employees or anyone who needs a refresher in using our products. For Accounting Master Jump Start Training, please contact your Client Relations Manager. There are two Customer Master Jump Start Training sessions scheduled for the coming month.

• July 12th and 13th
• July 24th and 25th

July’s featured MACC employee is Kendall Ziebarth. He works as a Technical Business Analyst-AI in our Information Services department. While Kendall has a long title, the explanation of what he does is pretty short. He makes it easier for our clients to do their job. Kendall manages application interface projects. Once these projects are complete, service provisioning is automated in our clients’ offices. This means less work for clients and quicker service installs for their customers.

Drop insert refresher

Communicating with your customers is always important, whether it’s for general notifications or promotions. Drop Inserts are a great way to get your messages to your customers. Before you communicate with MACC’s Creative Services Team, you’ll want to make sure all of the required setup is complete in your Customer Master database. There are three pieces to the setup: Insert Code, Criteria and Drop Insert Master.

Important information regarding traffic from Sprint

In June of 2017, Sprint (CIC 333) began the process of terminating wireline services to your customers. MACC continues to receive very small amounts of Sprint traffic. MACC will be moving this traffic to our consolidated billing system beginning with your August CABS billing.

Technical Information

Make sure to use updated web browsers

Effective July 1, 2018, we changed the encryption options for connecting to MACC’s web services. Older protocols and ciphers considered to be weak will no longer be enabled. As a result, some older browsers may have trouble accessing our services. If you have any trouble, please ensure you are using an updated browser.
