Web Self-Care receives enhancements

MACC continues to make advances in its Web Self-Care application with the new version, released last month, being no exception. Highlights include the following features. For a full list of enhancements see the Web Self-Care Enhancement Summary* on MACC’s website.

Control of Email ‘From Address’
Users can now establish a custom ‘From Address’ for all email notifications sent from Web Self-Care to end-users. This option can be established from the administrator page and applies to all notifications sent from the product. A test email option is also available as needed.

Reporting Trouble
Options have been added to the Report Trouble feature. Administrators can now establish whether trouble tickets can be added by business or residential accounts. If both are allowed, an option is available to indicate that as well. Additionally, defaults can be created for values such as prefix, priority, class, and category.

Vacation Management
When administrators have set up the Vacation Management function, a new option will be available in the menu selections for customers when they login. When accessed, it will allow the customer to request their services to be placed on or taken off of vacation, if the customer agrees to their selection. The information will be placed in the service order comments.
